01
Product & scope
What Lepta actually does today, and what's honestly still on the roadmap.
What is Lepta QA in one sentence?+
A single workspace where bugs, test cases, sessions, docs, releases, and automation live together — so every ship decision has evidence attached.
What surfaces are shipped today?+
Projects and workspaces, bugs with rich comments and mentions, test cases and manual runs, live test sessions with presence, docs with public/passcode share links, releases with PDF evidence packs, pipelines and schedules, web automation, visual regression, API testing, and AI/ML dataset + prompt/classifier evals.
What is not shipped yet?+
GitLab two-way issue mirroring, Figma inline frame embeds, AI-drafted repro steps on bugs, and per-PR regression hints are all on the roadmap. We call these out honestly on the Integrations and About pages.
Do we need to migrate off our existing bug tracker?+
No. GitHub Issues sync bidirectionally, so you can run Lepta alongside your current tracker until the team is ready to consolidate.
02
AI & data
How does the AI stay grounded in our data?+
Every AI feature — duplicate-bug detection via embeddings, AI test-case generation, Zoom session summaries, and prompt/classifier evals — pulls only from content your workspace has already produced. Nothing leaks between orgs.
Which model does Lepta use?+
Enterprise workspaces can bring their own Groq, OpenAI-compatible, or Anthropic-compatible endpoint per organization. Free and Team workspaces run on a curated shared model (currently openai/gpt-oss-120b on Groq).
Can we bring our own model / self-host embeddings?+
On Enterprise, yes. Configure a per-org LLM endpoint and embedding endpoint in Org settings → AI models.
03
Integrations & Zoom
Which integrations are shipped right now?+
GitHub (App + OAuth), Slack, Google Chat, Zoom (Marketplace + local upload), outgoing webhooks, and the REST API. GitLab and Figma are connectable today (you can save credentials) with full sync/embed on the roadmap.
Do Zoom transcripts work on free Zoom tiers?+
Yes. The Zoom Marketplace app pulls in cloud recordings on paid Zoom tiers; on free Zoom, drop a local recording into the session and Lepta transcribes and summarizes it the same way.
Do you support incoming webhooks from CI?+
Yes — every CI system that can POST JSON can drive a pipeline event on Lepta. The REST API also accepts direct release, run, and bug creation.
04
Billing & plans
Is Lepta really free to start?+
Yes. Free workspaces get the full product surface with quota limits (projects, sessions, automation minutes, AI actions). No credit card required.
What counts as an AI action?+
Duplicate-bug detection, AI test-case generation from a spec, Zoom transcription and AI session summaries, and model-eval scoring (prompt eval, classifier eval) all draw from the plan's AI quota.
Can we buy more automation minutes?+
Team workspaces can add minute packs. Enterprise workspaces negotiate custom pools across web automation, visual regression, API testing, and AI/ML eval usage.
05
Security, privacy & compliance
Is Lepta usable for regulated teams?+
Enterprise workspaces get SSO (SAML), SCIM provisioning, audit trails, exportable evidence packages, and BAAs on request. Talk to us about your specific compliance surface.
Where is our data stored?+
Primary storage is a managed EU/US region depending on the workspace. See our Trust library and Sub-processors page under Legal for the current list.
Can we export our workspace?+
Yes — every workspace can export bugs, test cases, sessions, docs, and releases as structured JSON. Release evidence packs are also downloadable as PDFs.
06
Roadmap & feedback
Where's the roadmap?+
The public changelog covers what shipped and what's next. If you'd like to influence order, join a design-partner call — we ship in tight loops with real teams.
How do we send feedback?+
Every page has a floating feedback widget bottom-right — send a note, screenshot, or file. It lands directly in the team's inbox with your workspace context attached.
Do you write your own docs?+
Yes. Docs, help center, and API reference are written by the team building the product. If something reads badly, tell us in the feedback widget.
